ESIC Recruitment for Social Security Officer/Manager Gr.-II/Superintendent – 539 (2018)
The Employee state insurance corporation (ESIC) is a self financing social security institution under Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. It protects the interest of workers in contingencies such as sickness, maternity, death etc. due to employment injury resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity.
ESIC released the notification for the recruitment of Social Security Officer/Manager Gr. –II/ Superintendent for the year 2018 in September. It is one of the most prestigious exams on a National Level for the recruitment process of direct entry of Officers. - ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS: –
Age Limits:- Minimum Age is 21 Years and Maximum 27 years (as on 5/10/2018)
Educational Qualification: – The candidate must have the following educational qualifications:
- Graduate from University/ Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India.
(Preference will be given to the graduates in Commerce/Law/Management)
- Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database
Experience (Desirable): Three years’ service in a Government Organization or Corporation or Government Undertaking or Local Body or Scheduled Bank etc.
There is some age relaxation for the students of RBI Assistant in different categories

- HOW TO APPLY: – Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility are first required to visit ESIC website www.esic.nic.in and click on the option “APPLY ONLINE FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF SSO-2018 IN ESIC“. To register application, choose the tab “Click here for Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.
Documents to be uploaded:-
- Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture with white background (20kb–50 KB).
- The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen (20 KB – 50 KB).
- The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink (20 KB – 50 KB).
- Hand written declaration content is to be as expected and should not be written in CAPITAL LETTERS (50 KB – 100 KB)

NOTE: – Phase –I is only QUALIFIYING in nature. There will be –ve marking of .25 marks for each wrong answer. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I.
- Phase –II:- Mains Examination

- Phase III – Computer Skill Test & Descriptive Test
(a) Computer Skill Test (CST) – 50 Marks (30 Minutes Duration) comprising of following three parts:
(i) Preparation of 02 Power Points Slides – 10 Marks
(ii) Typing matter on MS Word with formatting – 20 Marks
(iii) Preparation of Table on MS Excel with use of formulae – 20 Marks
(b) Descriptive Paper – English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)
