Important Note:
Penalty for wrong answers: There is a penalty of one-fourth of the total mark assigned to a question, for wrong answers in both preliminary examination as well as Mains examination. There is no penalty for non-attempted questions and descriptive test.
III. Interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the IBPS SO Online Main Examination will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organizations. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination and Interview.

IBPS SO Final Merit List
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of total scores obtained in the written test+ Interview. The weightage of the online test and interview will be 80:20. For being selected as a Specialist Officer in the public sector bank you have to qualify in both exams – A written online exam as well as an Interview and must score high in the merit list.
