About PSTET:
Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test( PSTET ) is conducted by Government of Punjab and with the Department ( CDAC Mohali or Education Board). This exam is good opportunity for those candidates who wish to make their career as a Government Teacher in the Education Department of Punjab. On the basis of this exam , candidates appoint as Primary Teacher for classes I-V and VI-VIII in Schools run by Government and Private managements. All the Interested and B.Ed. Qualified candidates and Full fills the Eligibility must go through this PSTET Exam.
Eligibility and Qualificaton for PSTET coaching :
NCTE has provided following criteria for candidate qualification as blow : Minimum Education Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage): Those Candidates who to teach class must be Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) Qualified . Graduate candidates can also apply and with the educational Qualification. Minimum Education Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Primary Stage): Candidates who to teach these classes , must have Bachelor Degree like B.A/B.Sc or other Graduation Degree or Equivalent Qualification.
ELIGLIBILTY and QUALIFICTIONS for PSTET Coaching:
Candidates should have following qualifications as prescribed by the NCTE:
Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) : Those Candidates who to teach class must be Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) qualified. Graduate candidates can also apply and with the educational Qualification, the Essential Qualification will be count.
Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) : Candidates who to teach these classes, must have Bachelor Degree like B.A/B.Sc Degree or other Graduation Degree or Equivalent Qualification, the Essential Qualification will be count. - Age Limit: The Minimum Age for PSTET exam is 18 years and there is no upper limit age
PSTET Notification 2023 Educational Qualification:
12th / Graduation or Equivalent / Must passed or appearing 1 yr B.Ed or final year of (2 yr Diploma or 4 yr Degree in Elementary School.
PSTET Notification 2023 Application Fee:
- General / OBC – Rs.600/-
- SC/ ST – Rs.300/-
- Ex-Serviceman (Self) – No Fee
