HIMACHAL PRADESH SSC (HPSSC) EXAM
HPSSC stands for Himachal Pradesh staff selection committee. This organization was setup in 1998 with head office Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.
Major the commission is responsible for recruiting candidates and suggesting the job opportunities across the state for various Posts. The commission carries our recruitment by 3 stages Written Test, physical, and interview.
The commission is also looks that the recruitment is done only with merit being the criteria for selection.
- Recruitment is carried out by two method: Recruitment with exam and viva: here the candidates need to appear for the written test and then called for viva and final selection goes after the merit list. This includes job post for the Himachal administrative services, judicial services, state forest services, forest rangers.
- Recruitment with exam and without viva: here the in-services candidates are put to give the examination and are selected without the viva on the basis of merit.
- Recruitment through interview without screening: in this case if candidates are less in no. they directly call for interviews and selection is based on merit basis.
- Age Limit: The minimum and maximum age limit of 18 to 45 years
- Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ST/OBC/PH/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per rules
- Qualification: Minimum Essential Qualifications as per R & P Rules.

- Selection Process: The selection process or mode of selection is based on:
- Part I: The Written Objective type Screening test of two hours duration will consist of 170 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of 85 marks. Each question will be of 1⁄2 marks. The skill tests /physical standard and efficiency test etc. wherever applicable will be of qualifying nature for those who qualify the Written Objective type Screening Test.
- Part II: Evaluation of 15 marks in respect of shortlisted candidates after qualifying written objective screening test/ subjective tests and skill tests/physical/practical test as according to the criteria of HPSSC
- Exam Pattern: The scheme of marks in respect of selection to HPSSC posts shall comprise of total 85 marks.
- The written examination will be either on OMR Sheet based or online computer based (CBT). The decision of the Commission in all matters relating to acceptance or rejection of an application, eligibility/suitability of the candidates, mode of, and criteria for selection etc. will be final and binding on the candidates. No inquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this regard. HPSSC reserve the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies on administrative grounds. The candidates shall be bound by all the instructions issued from time to time.
- HPSSC Exam Syllabus:
- Objective type screening test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions from the subject (s)/field (s) concerned, General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Metric standard and according to post selected by the candidate.

Educational Qualification for HP High Court Recruitment: Those candidates who want to apply for HP High Court Jobs for Process Server (Class-IV) positions should have passed in 10+2 and aspirants are going to apply for any other positions should have degree of Graduation/ B. Tech/MCA/ B.Sc. (IT)/ PGDCA or equivalent from recognized University/institutions.

- Minimum Ag: 18 Years
- Maximum Ag: 18 Years
- Applying aspirant for HP High Court Jobs must age-criteria as per the norms of Himachal Pradesh High Court
- Reserved category contenders such as SC/OBS category may get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the norms of organization.

- HP High Court Selection Process:
- According to HP High Court Recruitment Process, the selection of appliers for Himachal Pradesh High Court Jobs will be done on the basis of their performacnes in witten test followed by personal interview conducted by selection panel of High Court.
