1. ISRO TESTS SEMICRYOGENIC ENGINE –

• Recently, ISRO successfully conducted the second short-duration hot test of its semicryogenic engine at ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC),Mahendragiri,Tamilnadu validating engine start-up sequence and stable ignition.

About ISRO’s Semicryogenic Engine

• ISRO’s semicryogenic engine uses liquid oxygen (LOX) as the oxidizer and refined kerosene (RP-1) as fuel, operating at extremely high pressures and temperatures.
• Features: It offers higher thrust, better efficiency, reusability potential, and simpler handling compared to full cryogenic systems, operating partly under cryogenic conditions.
• Significance: It will enhance ISRO’s launch vehicle capabilities, making them more powerful, cost-effective, and globally competitive for heavier payloads.

 

इसरो ने सेमीक्रायोजेनिक इंजन का परीक्षण किया –

• हाल ही में, इसरो ने इसरो प्रोपल्शन कॉम्प्लेक्स (आईपीआरसी), महेंद्रगिरी, तमिलनाडु में अपने सेमीक्रायोजेनिक इंजन का दूसरा शॉर्ट-ड्यूरेशन हॉट टेस्ट सफलतापूर्वक किया, जिससे इंजन स्टार्ट-अप सीक्वेंस और स्थिर इग्निशन की पुष्टि हुई।

इसरो के सेमीक्रायोजेनिक इंजन के बारे में

• इसरो का सेमीक्रायोजेनिक इंजन ऑक्सीडाइज़र के रूप में लिक्विड ऑक्सीजन (LOX) और ईंधन के रूप में रिफाइंड केरोसिन (RP-1) का उपयोग करता है, जो अत्यधिक उच्च दबाव और तापमान पर काम करता है।
• विशेषताएँ: यह आंशिक रूप से क्रायोजेनिक परिस्थितियों में काम करने वाले पूर्ण क्रायोजेनिक सिस्टम की तुलना में उच्च थ्रस्ट, बेहतर दक्षता, पुन: प्रयोज्य क्षमता और सरल हैंडलिंग प्रदान करता है।
• महत्व: यह इसरो की लॉन्च वाहन क्षमताओं को बढ़ाएगा, जिससे वे अधिक शक्तिशाली, लागत प्रभावी और भारी पेलोड के लिए वैश्विक रूप से प्रतिस्पर्धी बनेंगे।

 

2. PM MITRA TEXTILE PARK PROJECT –

• Madhya Pradesh has received formal approval for the ₹2,100 crore PM MITRA textile park project in Bhainsola village, Dhar district, aiming to revolutionize the state’s textile industry.

• The PM MITRA Park in Madhya Pradesh will span an area of 2,100 acres and is expected to attract massive investments and generate significant employment opportunities.
• The project site in Dhar district is strategically near Indore, Pithampur industrial cluster, and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
• It will include advanced infrastructure like a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, a solar-powered energy facility, and plug-and-play units.

About PM MITRA Scheme

• The PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Scheme aims to transform India into a global textile manufacturing and export powerhouse.
• Origin: The scheme is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F vision: Farm to Fiber to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.

• मध्य प्रदेश को धार जिले के भैंसोला गांव में ₹2,100 करोड़ की पीएम मित्र टेक्सटाइल पार्क परियोजना के लिए औपचारिक मंजूरी मिल गई है, जिसका उद्देश्य राज्य के कपड़ा उद्योग में क्रांति लाना है।

• मध्य प्रदेश में पीएम मित्र पार्क 2,100 एकड़ क्षेत्र में फैला होगा और इससे बड़े पैमाने पर निवेश आकर्षित होने और महत्वपूर्ण रोजगार अवसर पैदा होने की उम्मीद है।
• धार जिले में परियोजना स्थल रणनीतिक रूप से इंदौर, पीथमपुर औद्योगिक क्लस्टर और दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे के पास है।

3. PRESIDENT HONORED 71 INDIVIDULAS WITH PADMA AWARDS –

• The Padma Awards are among India’s highest civilian honors, presented annually to individuals for their exceptional service across various fields. The awards are divided into three categories: Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri.
• These awards honor individuals who have made remarkable contributions in fields such as art, public affairs, science, engineering, medicine, social work, literature, and education. President Droupadi Murmu conferred the prestigious Padma Awards on 71 distinguished individuals .

• पद्म पुरस्कार भारत के सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मानों में से हैं, जो विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उनके असाधारण योगदान के लिए व्यक्तियों को प्रतिवर्ष प्रदान किए जाते हैं। पुरस्कारों को तीन श्रेणियों में विभाजित किया गया है: पद्म विभूषण, पद्म भूषण और पद्म श्री।

4. INDIA SIGNS $7.4 BILLION DEAL WITH FRANCE FOR RAFALE FIGHTER JETS –

• India signed a landmark agreement with France for the purchase of 26 Rafale fighter aircraft worth approximately 630 billion rupees ($7.4 billion) .
• This deal, which includes both single-seater and twin-seater versions of the fighter jets, aims to bolster India’s naval air power and strengthen its defence ties with France.
• The delivery of these aircraft is expected to be completed by 2030, with the deal providing both military and economic benefits, including the generation of jobs and business opportunities.

 

भारत ने राफेल लड़ाकू विमानों के लिए फ्रांस के साथ 7.4 बिलियन डॉलर का सौदा किया –

• भारत ने 26 राफेल लड़ाकू विमानों की खरीद के लिए फ्रांस के साथ लगभग 630 बिलियन रुपये (4 बिलियन डॉलर) का ऐतिहासिक समझौता किया।
• इस सौदे में लड़ाकू विमानों के सिंगल-सीटर और ट्विन-सीटर दोनों संस्करण शामिल हैं, जिसका उद्देश्य भारत की नौसेना की हवाई शक्ति को बढ़ाना और फ्रांस के साथ अपने रक्षा संबंधों को मजबूत करना है।
• इन विमानों की डिलीवरी 2030 तक पूरी होने की उम्मीद है, इस सौदे से सैन्य और आर्थिक दोनों तरह के लाभ मिलेंगे, जिसमें नौकरियों और व्यावसायिक अवसरों का सृजन भी शामिल है।

 

5. BRICS ADOPTS DECLARATION ON AI, CLIMATE CHANGE, AND EMPLOYMENT AT 2025 LABOUR MINISTERS’ MEETING –

• The 11th BRICS Labour & Employment Ministers’ Meeting, held on April 25, 2025, in Brasília under Brazil’s Presidency, has garnered significant attention for addressing crucial issues related to the future of work.
• With the theme “Strengthening the Cooperation of the Global South for More Inclusive and Sustainable Governance,” the meeting emphasized two key areas: the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the workforce and the effects of climate change on the world of work, advocating for a just and equitable transition for workers.

 

ब्रिक्स ने 2025 के श्रम मंत्रियों की बैठक में एआई, जलवायु परिवर्तन और रोजगार पर घोषणा को अपनाया –

• 25 अप्रैल, 2025 को ब्राजील की अध्यक्षता में ब्रासीलिया में आयोजित 11वीं ब्रिक्स श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रियों की बैठक ने काम के भविष्य से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों को संबोधित करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण ध्यान आकर्षित किया है।
• “अधिक समावेशी और टिकाऊ शासन के लिए वैश्विक दक्षिण के सहयोग को मजबूत करना” विषय के साथ, बैठक में दो प्रमुख क्षेत्रों पर जोर दिया गया: कार्यबल पर आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (एआई) का प्रभाव और काम की दुनिया पर जलवायु परिवर्तन का प्रभाव, श्रमिकों के लिए न्यायसंगत और समान परिवर्तन की वकालत करना।
