- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in the official language of the state/UT they are applying for.
Selection Process
The selection process for IBPS Clerk 2024 consists of two stages:
- Preliminary Examination:
- English Language: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Numerical Ability: 35 questions (35 marks)
- Reasoning Ability: 35 questions (35 marks)
- Duration: 60 minutes
- The Preliminary exam is of a qualifying nature; scores are used to shortlist candidates for the Mains exam.
- Main Examination:
- General/Financial Awareness: 50 questions (50 marks)
- General English: 40 questions (40 marks)
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 50 questions (60 marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions (50 marks)
- Duration: 160 minutes
- The scores obtained in the Mains exam are considered for the final selection.
- No Interview: The final selection is based solely on the Mains exam performance.

- Candidates must apply online through the IBPS official website ibps.in.
- Application Fee:
- General/EWS/OBC: ₹850
- SC/ST/PwBD: ₹175
- Required documents include a scanned passport-sized photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
