IBPS RRB 2018 Notification

The recruitment notification for IBPS RRB 2018 has finally been released by IBPS. You can download the Official Notification by clicking on the link mentioned below. With release of Official Notification, the exam dates, pattern and syllabus has also been released.
IBPS RRB PO 2018 will be conducted on 11th, 12th, 18th August 2018 (Preliminary Exam) and the mains exam for the same will be conducted on 30th September 2017. This year, a single exam will be conducted for IBPS RRB Officer Scale II & III on 30th September 2018.
IBPS RRB 2018 Office Assistant Preliminary Exam will be conducted on 19th, 25th August and 1st September 2018 and the mains exam for the same will be conducted on 7th October 2018.

IBPS RRB Salary & Allowances

IBPS RRB basic salary during training is not more than Rs. 10000 – 15000/- and will differ after recruitment according to the bank policy. Even if the salary of IBPS RRB posts varies according to the grade, they have a good salary structure. There are also good chances of increase in the salary. Furthermore, apart from the salary, IBPS RRB Assistants & Officers receive allowances like Dearness Allowance.

IBPS RRB 2018 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the selection to the post of Office Assistant is quite different to that of exam pattern for the selection to the post of Officer Grade. For IBPS RRB Assistant 2018, Exam will be conducted in two phases:
1.Preliminary Exam
2.Mains Exam
No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

IBPS RRB Officer 2018 Exam Pattern

For IBPS RRB Officer 2018, exam will be conducted in three phases:
1.  Preliminary Exam
2. Mains Exam
3. Interview Process
The final selection will be made on the cumulative score obtained by candidate in both Mains Exam and Interview Process.

Eligibility Criteria – IBPS RRB Clerical Exam

I.Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either 
(i) A Citizen of India or
(ii) A subject of Nepal or
(iii) A subject of Bhutan or
(iv) A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age (As on Date of Notification):
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 28 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

c. Persons with Disabilities 10 years

3.Educational Qualifications:
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
(a) Essential: Proficiency in local language .
(b) Desirable: Knowledge of Computer skills.

IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Recruitment process

Personal Interview (By Individual Regional Rural Banks of Respective States according to the seats available)

Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations listed above as a Probationary Officer/Management Trainee or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CWE-RRB Clerk). Candidates who appear and are shortlisted in the examination, will subsequently be issued a score card valid for one year period. Interview is taken by the respective bank (RRBs) itself according to the seats available.

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
