Haryana State Exams

Haryana staff service commission (HSSC) is the Commission that conducts examinations/interviews for appointments to Group ‘C’ services and may be called up on to conduct examination/interview for appointment to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services if required by the Haryana Government. Education Qualification: Matriculation from recoganized board with hindi/sanskrit as a subject upto matriculation

Age: 18 to 42

Exam pattern

  1. Written Exam: –Comprises of 90marks containing 75% weightage for G.K, Quant, reasoning, Hindi and English and 25% weightage for Haryana G.K.
  2. Socio-economic criteria and Experience:-comprises of 10 marks and the marks allocated according to following criteria:-
  3. No person from family background have a regular govt. job 5 marks
  4. Orphan/ widow 5 marks
  5. Belongs to denotified tribe or nomadic tribe of Haryana 5 marks
  6. Experience (marks per year) 5 marks

Police Constable and S.I.

Education Qualification:

Constable– Candidates should possess 10+2/ equivalent from a recognized education board/ institution & must be studied Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric level.

Sub-Inspector- Graduation from any recognized university or equivalent from a recognized education board/ institution & must be studied Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric level or higher educations.

Age: 18 to 25 year for Constable and 21-27 for Sub-Inspector.

Exam pattern

The written Test consist of the objective type having 100 multiple choice questions of 0.80 marks each and of ninety (90) minutes duration. it includes Question on G.K., reasoning, Quant, agriculture and animal husbandry and basic knowledge of computer.

Education Qualification: Graduation from Recognised University.

Age:  18-42 years

Exam pattern

The written Test consist of the objective type having 100 multiple choice questions of 1 marks each. It includes Questions on English language and general knowledge.
