Out of the Three Battlefields i.e. Ground, Air & Water, the aerial defence system has assumed huge significance in the wake of technological advancements done in the last 2 decades. With advent of ICBM , Super Sonic Fighter Jets & Nuclear deployments. With Pakistan & China being tenacious neighbours, The Indian Air Force has a daunting task in hand to keep a check and maintain balance. In general whenever we are thinking of Air Force we assume that its all about Fighter Planes. But in actual sense all the aerial work has to be supported by the grounded system.
